BACKGROUND
Alan Alford started his musical journey almost 50 years ago. Enamored with the music of the 60s & 70s he started taking private lessons for guitar at 13. His love for music led to his first “real” job with a local music store at 14. Playing guitar and saxophone with the Quincy Notre Dame jazz, concert, and marching bands reinforced that love.
Actively performing worship music throughout his life, Al also became a qualified strings technician, studying under Jack Stern at Mir Music in Hillsboro, Oregon.
“Music opened many doors for me and brought so much joy to my otherwise “ordinary” life.”
